Description |
Roundup Day Newspaper article 6 pictures of people in western costumes. The Westminster Merchants and employees are all wearing Western or Centennial dress every Friday and Saturday. On Friday we snapped pictures of a representative group. The 3 ladies in top left are Jackie Robinson, Lydia Whitlock and Adeline Drumright. of House of Pizza. Top middle picture is Myra Brown from Harris Park Foods and Les Hauber of Bays Drug. In top right photo Lloyd Jolitz, butcher and Otis Askren owner of Harris Park Foods. Lower left Howard Horton and Helen Van Cleave, City of Westminster Employees and Guy Pearce and Pat Toney of Castle Cleaners. In his maverick outfit is Roy Seiler of Boulevard Card Shop. Lower right is Bill Parenteau, Donna Hughes and Wanda West of Archorage Cleaners. Toby Tobias, Superior Furniture and Peck Bean of Bean's Hardware. Pictures cannot do justice to the outfits as the bright colors is what makes them outstanding. C 1950 |
