Susanna McNair Gregory Wedding Suit - 1884 Wedding Suit - 2 piece and box. Green Taffeta, long sleeve, fitted jacket; button front. Black Taffeta "V" panel on front with tucked design. Black bands around sleeves, green ruffled overskirt taffeta, edged in black with fringe. Skirt has black edge, short train, hand made. Worn by Susanna McNair Gregory when she married William Jones Gregory at Dansville, N.Y. August 15, 1884. Matching bonnet hat, green taffeta. Box from Daniels & fisher is in the box under the bed in the NE Bedroom |
