Home located at the southeast corner of 76th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. Jeremiah DeSpain House then McClellan House. House was burned down by Volunteer Firefighters as a practice burn after City of Westminster bought the house and land to develop Torii Square Park. This house was homesteaded by Martha Mutter 1870 (mother of Sarah Mutter DeSpain) mother-in-law of Pleasant DeSpain Sr. Early 1960's. There were 3 buildings on this property. The main house, a garage which was converted into a rental home in the 1950's and a pump house turned into a rental home in the 1950's. |
