Charles R. Johnson In Recognition - Our Sincere Thanks & Appreciation for His Devoted Service Beginning in 1956 Mr. Johnson served as Chief of Ambulance service for the District 50 Rescue Unit. This volunteer ambulance service served the Westminster area until merging with the Westminster Fire Department in 1990. Mr. Johnson led donation drives to fund the rescue unit and service (provided free of charge), responded to calls (at least one a day), and never received a complaint. His positive impact on our community will never be forgotten. Presented in Honor of his 90th Birthday, April 1, 2009 |
